The CEQ ‘Savvy Seniors’ discount card are a special type of membership and provided by Community Enterprise Queensland in acknowledgement and rewarding our elders within the ABIS/IBIS communities for their patronage.

Now available EVERYDAY, the policy initiative commenced on the Thursday 26 October 2023 and was accessible only on Thursdays of each week.

Now card holders can take advantage of access to the savings EVERYDAY!

Card holders will receive a 10% discount at register on their purchase of eligible goods when they shop at IBIS Bamaga Supermarket. The card can only be used at the IBIS Bamaga Supermarket while the card validity dates are current, and is not transferrable to other CEQ operated stores.

Our CEQ ‘Savvy Seniors’ discount card holders need to simply present their card at the checkout to obtain the 10% discount on the cost of eligible goods at register.

Bamaga IBIS is excited to host the EXTENDED trial of the Savvy Seniors Club from 7th August 2024 to 1st July 2025.

Tobacco, Alcohol, Mobile Phones / EPAY, Flights, Fuel / Gas, Power cards, Newspaper and Magazines are not included.

How to Apply

Customers can apply for a CEQ ‘Savvy Seniors’ Discount Card. Customers will be issued with a CEQ ‘Savvy Seniors’ Discount Card based on their eligibility.

• A customer can apply for a CEQ ‘Savvy Seniors’ Discount Card directly at IBIS Bamaga Supermarket.
• If a Commonwealth card has been issued and the applicants eligibility has changed, they’ll be able to upgrade, replace or cancel their card  online.
• Customers can apply up to 2 months prior to their sixtieth birthday (the CEQ ‘Savvy Seniors’ Discount card will be issued when the applicant turns sixty)
