Introducing the New Bamaga Community Home & Hardware Store an exciting New Retail Store Opening on 18th November 2024 in Bamaga, Far North Queensland.
We are thrilled to announce the opening of Community Home & Hardware, our very first store of this concept. Our mission is to bring the community exceptional value and unique offerings that make everyday life better and more affordable.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of the Angkamuthi, Atambaya and Gudang Yadheykenu tribal groups of the Northern Cape York Group in which we conduct our business.
We recognise the uniqueness of this region and the traditional custodianships that the Apudthama people have over their land and sea country. We humbly respect their history and pay homage to the elders, past, present and emerging.
It is through this mutual respect and understanding of Apudthama country that we operate our services and ask our valued partners to respect the traditional owners of this country.
At our new store, you’ll find our popular Deadly Deals designed to reduce the cost of living. Using the buying power of groups like Mitre 10, Sportspower and Betta Home Living, CEQ is able to provide the community a local place to purchase Hardware, Outdoor and Sporting Goods, Whitegoods and Electrical appliances, Furniture and Manchester.
We’re dedicated to listening to our customers through the Happy or Not feedback system, ensuring the customer shopping experience is always improving.
Supporting local jobs and businesses is a priority for us, which is why we’ve arranged local delivery services and will promote local trade referrals for building and installing furniture on our Community Wall.
Our new store design makes it easy to find what you need, with cube signage featuring clear fonts and images. We’re proud to introduce both the Kings range and Makita tools to the NPARC region for the first time, as well as our new line of health and fitness equipment. Everything you see on display is available for immediate purchase – no waiting required.
We’re also creating new local jobs, independently from the IBIS Bamaga Supermarket, and supporting local entrepreneurship through our dedicated Souvenirs area, where community members can showcase and sell their products.
In addition to flexible Buy Now, Pay Later options, Community Home & Hardware services not only Bamaga but also many nearby remote communities through our convenient Cape York location.
Community Home & Hardware is the newest addition to the CEQ group, we are not-for–profit and aim to provide goods at the most affordable price possible. Through our buying power and shipping partners, we remove most of the high cost to customers of shipping these (sometimes) bulky goods from mainland Australia.
